At Trinity, music is a cornerstone of worship. St. Augustine once said “He who sings prays twice.” Trinity’s congregation likes to sing! Our music is a wonderful reflection of who we are as a church, celebrating our roots both to the Episcopal Church and the African American community. We use two hymnals during the worship, the 1982 Hymnal and Lift Every Voice and Sing. We often supplement these hymnals with music from other sources, both religious and secular. The Trinity Choir helps to enrich our worship from early September through Trinity Sunday each year. In addition we have many instrumentalists and special events throughout the year.

The choir can always use more voices! Anyone who loves to sing will be welcomed into the choir with open arms. Let Daniel Brinson, our Music Director, know if you’d like to try making a joyful noise with the choir, or if you have other musical gifts we can weave into our service. His email is [email protected].

Children’s Choir

Children are an integral part of our life at Trinity –without their gifts and their voices, our worship is incomplete!  So this summer, in preparation for more children’s choir offerings in the fall, we’re going to have a few fun times of singing (and drumming) for children of all ages.  Come for one day or for all.  Led by Daniel Brinson and volunteers.
